Bobby Tse

Bobby has more than 20 years of experience in project management and client-relationship management gained from working as an outreach mission leader, a business development director for a marketing-solutions firm and an engineer for construction companies. His work has taken him across Asia. He has negotiated with local businesses and government, coordinated team efforts in earthquake-stricken Sichuan, and helped to build schools in Uganda.  With great compassion for the under-privileged, Bobby recognizes the diverse ways that corporations with corporate social responsibility programs can boost both society and business. These ideas and experiences planted the seeds for Sowers Exchange, of which he is a partner and Managing Director.

 

Beth Uy

Beth has 15 years of experience in Asia in product marketing, project management, change management and manufacturing. Her experiences have given her a keen understanding of the cultural diversity and nuances in doing business across geographic and socioeconomic borders. In 2009, Beth embarked on an intensive year of travel and volunteer work in her home country, the Philippines. That experience allowed her to realise the potential benefits and common causes to be seized between business and civil sectors.  She is a partner in Sowers Exchange and oversees its business operations.

 

Ankita Singla

Ankita has experience in Investment Banking from working as an analyst for Nomura Bank,  in the Mumbai office for the past three years. Along with her work, she is passionately involved in the CSR activities of Nomura. She has also volunteered with one of India's prominent social venture funds working as a financial consultant to for-profit social organizations. She believes that the social sector also requires the same skill set as the corporate sector and hence uses her skills to do research/due diligence on social purpose organizations. She has acquired B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

 

Stefano Bury

Stefano has worked in the metals and energy industry for over 5 years, covering markets in Europe and Asia. During this time, he has worked in Dublin, Singapore, and Shanghai. Most recently, he has been responsible for metal sales in Southeast Asia and Taiwan for a large, multinational mining company. In addition to his international working experience, he has also lived in Colombia, the United States, and Canada. In recent years, Stefano has been involved with a children¹s charity in Vietnam, which helps children from rural areas attend school and vocational colleges to give them the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

 

Charles Nave 

For the last eight years Charles has worked in specialised equity research and sales, covering a wide range of companies and sectors across South East Asia.  During this time he has been based in Melbourne and Singapore. Prior to this, he was working with the account directing team for a global advertising firm in London.  He has a B.Com from Deakin University, Australia and has been actively involved with NGOs for a number of years.

 

Angie Leung

Angie has worked in several international fashion companies; handling their public relations and marketing campaigns. Afterwards she gained experience in a corporate communications firm focusing on public relations and crisis management. Deeply impacted after going on two service trips to Uzbekistan and spending time with their youth groups, she began working for non-profit organization “Asian University for Women” (“AUW”) in 2009, concentrating on brand building and fundraising. She joined Sowers Exchange in 2011; she currently divides her time between AUW and Sowers Exchange.
